On May 27th, JRAAS will host a workshop on academic publishing and dissemination presented by Hanna Pięta, PhD. It will take place in Meeting Room 2 at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of University of Porto from 14:30 to 16:30.

Hanna Pięta is Assistant Professor at NOVA FCSH and Senior Researcher at CETAPS. She has served on the editorial boards of three Scopus-indexed journals, including, most recently, The Translator (Taylor & Francis), and regularly peer-reviews for leading Translation Studies and interdisciplinary journals (Nature, Target, Perspectives, Meta, TTR, Translation Studies), international publishers (Routledge, Bloomsbury), and major conferences (EST, IATIS). Her publications include over sixty research outputs with leading publishers and journals, chapters in six major handbooks and encyclopedias, five guest-edited special issues, and a co-authored monograph, Indirect Translation Explained (Routledge, 2022), with two further books currently underway.
