On June 16th and June 25th, we had the second and final instalments of our last cinema cycle as JRAAS, "Green on the Screen" (in partnership with Associação Luso-Britânica do Porto) with the films In the Name of the Father (1993; dir. Jim Sheridan) and Kneecap (2024; dir. Rich Peppiatt), respectively.

We had the pleasure of having Professors Nicolas Hurst and Márcia Lemos introducing the films, providing the audience with historical, social, and political contexts that enriched the viewing experience.

We would like to express our gratitude to those who attended our film sessions be it this cycle or the previous one. It was an extremely fruitful experience for all involved!
