On June 18th and 19th, the JRAAS team participated in the 46th APEAA Conference at NOVA FCSH in Lisbon. We presented our work titled “Futures Gone By: Polycrisis framed by works in Arts and Humanities”, in which we attempted to explore the main predictions for the first quarter of the 21st century in works from the 20th century, as well as patterns and trends between publication date and prediction date, geographical location, and type of media across 20th century works that predict the first 25 years of the 21st century. We enjoyed all the panels we attended and we were very well received by both attendees and organising committee. We were grateful for the opportunity to attend and participate in this conference!
