Call for Submissions – Humanidades Digitais: linguagens, cultura e saberes interdisciplinares

TRAMA Interdisciplinar Journal, the biannual scientific journal of the Graduate Program in Education, Art, and Cultural History at Mackenzie Presbyterian University, invites submissions for its upcoming special issue. This special issue aims to foster debate on the ongoing transformations in the humanities, highlighting the role of digital technologies in reshaping languages and forms of knowledge, as well as in expanding the possibilities for research, creation, and the circulation of knowledge in contemporary culture. 

Submissions addressing the following thematic areas are invited (non-exhaustive list):

  • Theoretical and epistemological foundations of the Digital Humanities
  • Digital languages and contemporary culture
  • Digital Humanities and interdisciplinarity
  • Digital culture, mediation, and the production of meaning
  • Text analysis, data mining, and computational linguistics
  • Digital arts and contemporary creative processes
  • Digital narratives, data visualisation, and new forms of writing
  • Digital culture, the Web, and collaborative participation
  • Digital arts and contemporary creative processes
  • Digital history, memory, archives, and heritage
  • Management and curation of cultural and scientific information
  • Artificial intelligence, language, and culture
  • Interdisciplinary experiences in research and cultural production
