The Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto (FLUP) invites applications for one Research Initiation Fellowship (BII) within the project “Deep-sea Minding: Bringing Up Socio-Scientific Issues to Science Teaching Through Multilinear Learning Approaches (DSeaM)” (Ref. 2023.18409.ICDT).

The fellowship is open to candidates enrolled in a bachelor’s, integrated master’s, or master’s degree, or holding a bachelor’s degree and enrolled in a non-degree programme, in Digital Media, Multimedia, Computer Science, Information Science, Data Science, or related fields.

The work plan includes participation in research and outreach activities, website and web application development, data processing and analysis using text-mining techniques, interactive data visualisation, and collaboration in the production of scientific publications. 

The fellowship will be based at CETAPS, FLUP, under the academic supervision of Dr Luciano Moreira. It has an estimated start date in October 2026 and a monthly allowance of €701.12.
