We are happy to announce that Shakespeare's last solo play, ‘The Tempest’, first published in 1623, has been uploaded into the Shakespeare Translation Memory. Users can access the original text and Professor Fátima Vieira’s Portuguese translation. The platform shows a side-by-side view of both texts, which makes it especially helpful for exploring the nuances of both Shakespearean English and Portuguese languages, and the complexities of translating from one into the other. This has been the 12th play to be uploaded to the repository.
