The Associação Internacional de Pesquisadores de Culturas (InterCult) invites the academic community to participate in the 11th International Congress on Cultures, to be held in November 2025 at the University of Porto.

Researchers in the arts, cultures, heritage, philosophy, social and human sciences, literature, and other related fields are invited to contribute papers that explore culture as a driver of citizenship, dialogue, and social transformation.

This Open Call is open until 15 July. The results will be announced on 6 August. I'm honoured to serve as Coordinator alongside Messias Guimarães Bandeira (UFBA) on the panel/work group 3 - Culture, development, networks, and artificial intelligence.

Intercult brings together 24 universities from Portugal, Brazil, and Mozambique to share knowledge, information, and experiences about cultures in Portuguese-speaking countries. Papers in Portuguese, Spanish, and Galician will be accepted.
