Last week, I presented a recent work in a symposium organized by Lilian Negura at the International Conference on Social Representations. This year the biannual conference that gathers the social representations community was in Brest, North of France.
The symposium AI and Social Representation: Communication, Power, and Culture in the Age of Intelligent Machines was exciting. Lilian Negura is editing a book on the subject of social representations and artificial intelligence and this symposium a chance for some of the contributors to share their research.
I explored the representations of AI in utopian and science fiction literature in a first effort to bring social representations, digital humanities and speculative fiction together.
A glimpse of the work in the image below representing a network of tags associated withe AI in the The Internet Speculative Fiction Database.

The book is coming soon!
