ABC - Revista PortuguezaIt is with immense pride that I share the database of the project “Cross-Cultural Discourses: Portugal, Britain and the Press”, founded by Professor Gabriela Gândara Terenas, in the context of CETAPS’s research area of Anglo-Portuguese Studies. The database was developed by me under 2 the scientific supervision of Professor Gabriela Gândara Terenas, in collaboration with Luciano Moreira (FLUP/CETAPS) and the CETAPS undergraduate research fellows:

Using DSpace, the database includes all articles published during the 1920s in the Portuguese periodical press based in Lisbon, Porto, and Coimbra that, in some way, refer to Great Britain. Additionally, it includes pieces printed in some daily newspapers from these same cities, although this part of the work is yet to be completed. I invite all those interested to explore the database and extend my deepest gratitude to Luciano, who assisted me whenever necessary and patiently clarified all my doubts.

I am also deeply grateful to our research fellows, whom I supervised for over a year and without whom it would not have been possible to continue this project. Finally, I would also like to thank Professor Gabriela, who entrusted me with this task, which I embraced wholeheartedly (and would again).
